Private and free docs prototype.
An experimental collaborative, peer-to-peer docs app that works. This is a prototype. It is on the web for the purposes of demonstration. Do not use it for anything serious.
Click + new underdoc to create a doc. The doc will be saved in your browser and only you will have a copy. If you share the link with someone and they open it while you have it open, you can start collaborating on it. There is no server in the middle. If you close the doc before the other person opens it, they will not be able to access it. Once they access it, they will have a copy on their computer. The content of the doc is never passed through a server. This system is known as peer-to-peer. You can also download a copy of the doc as a .udoc file to your desktop if you'd like.
